The Iota Nu Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Chapter History

Picture
The Iota Nu Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded on the campus of Northwestern University on March 3, 1978 by Bro. Nathaniel Curry. It was then officially charted on May 1, 1978, and thus began the great start of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. on Northwestern University's campus. After some time there was a loss of Sigma presence on campus, and other organizations claimed the yard. However on April 12, 2002, the chapter was reactivated and a great class of Sigma men made it their duty to keep the light of the Iota Nu chapter shining on this campus. From that point on, year after year, a new line of men was initiated into the fraternity.

And to this day the Iota Nu Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is still big on creating more growth and unity. The men of Iota Nu continue to strive towards their goal to create an unbreakable brotherhood within the organization and make a great impact on the community both on and off campus.

We stand strongly by our chapter motto when we say "The Result of not Meeting the Standard, but Setting it."
